We sold our first large Connect A Dock to the Peachtree City Rowing Club -- a great solution loved by the entire rowing community! I love the huge bumper stop on the front of their ports that keep you from hitting the dock! It is amazing that when I started Leisure Lifestyle Products, I had no idea where we would wind up. And today, we have an great portfolio of products and services that transform our customer's lifestyle on the water! Mike Krull at Connect A Dock helped us to learn about the products, helps us with configurations and pricing, and presented us with the opportunity to represent their fine products across Georgia.  Continuing on my series of tributes to our manufacturing partners, I wanted to focus on the incredible story at Pond King. Located in Gainesville Texas, Pond King provides an array of products and services to support pond habitats, fish stocking, docks, mini pontoons, deer feeders, turtle traps, duck blinds, and even fajita cookers. They also offer an on-line fishing pro guide service and an incredible retail store. Pond King's products are all manufactured right on site. This gives the customer the opportunity to see their fabrication process. When you are there, you totally understand that each of their products are made with the highest quality products and standards -- build by passionate and dedicated employees. The products we focus on at Leisure Lifestyle Products is Pond King's small Pontoon Boat Line. (Pond King Sport, Pro, and Ultras!) Every month or two we try to make the 1800 mile round trip to Gainesville, Texas from Peachtree City, GA and pick up a load of Pond King Boats. Sports and Pros... The wonderful bonus in our relationship is that Pond King helps us tremendously by selling our Aqua Cycle Pontoon Pedal Boats! So... the truck is loaded both ways! And often, we can deliver a boat or two on the way! Pond King is among the best of our dealers for the Aqua Cycle! What makes the trip special for me is that I get the chance to say hello to the team members at Pond King. Jill Roush is Pond King's marketing and sales specialist. Jill always has a smile and a greets us with a warm hello! She is incredibly professional and wonderful to work with. The production team is lead by Mark Neu. Mark and his team are incredibly knowledgeable about manufacturing, customer service, fishing, and all things Pond. The entire vision for Pond King was created by Brad Metzler -- the founder, owner, and President of Pond King. Now Brad, to me, is an entrepreneur hero. When you visit Pond King, you actually are at the front door of his house. Literally. You feel as if you are living within a man's entrepreneurial dream. His company, his family, and employees are first rate. To be honest, all of his employees and family seem to be one and the same! The facilities are clean, orderly, modern and new. As you look around his retail shop, you can't help but have a gawk at all of the coolest of fishing equipment, accessories, and apparel. I can't help but think... Brad is the entrepreneur that i want to be when I grow up. :) His inspiration for all of this is best captioned by his own words.... "“THE BEST TIMES ARE SPENT DOWN AT THE POND.
