The Ultraskiff 360 is the original, first and only patented user-friendly design of a round boat. We figured out a way to design a round skiff with an incline on the deck that positions your feet for optimum balance control when sitting, standing up, leaning over, fighting a fish or getting in and out of the boat. The Ultraskiff 360 also has a patented detachable pedestal mount for easy access through the center hole for strapping during transport or securely locking it up outside. It is transportable by rolling the skiff like a wheel, sliding it on it's side bumper or using a common hand truck. You can fit up to 2 in a pickup truck bed or use any small boat or utility trailer. Why Round?
Why is it a Round Boat? We were the first to modernized the concept of 360 degree fishability in a small boat: We wanted to fish and hunt out of a floating gun turret where your posture and ergonomic foot positioning stayed the same no matter which way you turn in your chair. A constant vantage point and feet positioning whether standing or sitting. Small, lightweight watercrafts like jon boats, kayaks, canoes, pond boats, tenders and SUP's tend to drift and change direction on their own and constantly changing your posture and footing to stay aligned with a particular target gets tiresome. As well as Maximum Stability: Life-rafts nowadays are round with a flat bottom because of how safely they float over large waves and swells with minimal change to the free board.
Ergonomic Perfection for Fishability!
Why is this round watercraft good for fishing? The Ultra Skiff has the features and accessories needed to experience fishability in a small lightweight personal watercraft. The gradient outer perimeter also gives you an ergonomic surface for your feet to rest on and apply pressure against while sitting or standing that allows you to get leverage on a fish and apply outwards pressure with your feet if you want the boat to turn towards the fish while fighting it. Otherwise without the gradient surface, you would lean back with a hook-set and your feet would instinctively reach out to find the gunwales each time you wanted to get a hook set or reel a fish in.
The Magic of the Detachable Pedestal Mount
Detachable Pedestal Mount The Ultraskiff 360 has a patented detachable pedestal mount that is compatible with both 7" square and 9" round shaped pedestal bases. When removed it makes the boat lighter to handle and keeps your seating hardware separated from the elements. It easily slides off, exposing the center hole. This center hole allows you fit your entire hand through one or two boats at once for security locks and strapping down vertically or horizontally to a truck bed, cargo carrier or trailer. The detachable pedestal has shock absorbers that separate the plastic hull from the torque and pressure derived from the fulcrum of a single pedestal into a plastic hull, this enhances the stability of the craft while preventing stress fractures in the plastic hull over time.
